Hemiplegic Migraine

Hemiplegic migraine

Hemiplegic migraine is another rare but severe form of migraine where reversible paralysis occurs, usually on one side. In some people, aura symptoms can last for days or weeks.

Hemiplegic Migraine often begins in childhood and there is frequently a strong family history.

Diagnosing this condition usually requires a full neurological examination to rule out other causes, as the symptoms can be indicative of other diseases.
